Information:

CPM Projects links JDTA Data to a Training Course Construct to support the following:
  • CPM Projects Course Construct - is Course, Module, Lesson, Section. Module, Lesson and Sections can be linked to other projects and re-used. CPM Projects that are very common modules, lessons or sections should be developed in a separate section to allow greater reuse or repurposing of training material.
  • R3 (Reuse, Repurpose and Reference) - a little know fact about CPM Projects is that the module, lesson and section can link to the same JDTA data can be tailored to support different ....
    • conditions
    • standards
    • action Verbs
    • platforms
    • systems
    • sub-systems
    • components
    • non-equipment
    • environment
  • JDTA data can be linked to the module, lesson or section levels, the different colors indicates what level:
    • Magenta - Duty
    • Blue - Task (or KSATR)
    • Orange - Sub-Task
    • Yellow - Step
NOTE: Course level is also Yellow (default color) it is NOT an indicate it is linked to a sub-task. The Course Level is linked to the "Performance Requirements" selection right above the field. In the Performance Requirements selection is how you link the JDTA Occupations, Jobs, Duties, Task, Sub-Task and Steps to the project.
  • If the lesson or section is "gray", this means it is not linked to a training requirement identified in the JDTA. This requires review and approval by the LSO staff.
  • Just because a color is assigned, doesn't indicate that a correct linkage between the work and learning objective was created. This also requires review and approval by the LSO staff.
